Job Overview

The Platform Insights team vision is to deliver a unified data event platform that enables users to query, visualize, and analyze their data. This goal aims to optimize workflows within the application by providing a consistent dashboard experience.


Main Responsibilities
  • Backend Development: Develop Golang components leveraging high-scale data pipelines.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Product Management and other stakeholders within Engineering to maintain quality standards in an iterative environment.
  • Coding Standards: Craft code meeting standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
  • Integration: Work with other teams to integrate monitoring and insights features into product areas.
  • Feature Development: Develop features and improvements to the application in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
  • Independent Work: Ship features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members.

Key Requirements
  • Golang Experience: Professional experience with Golang and PostgreSQL.
  • Database Knowledge: Strong database experience and interest in developing expertise in ClickHouse databases.
  • Platform Expertise: Experience working with a platform or complex applications (Large scale is a bonus).
  • CI/CD Tools: Familiarity building and deploying software with CI/CD or other internal tooling.
  • Distributed Systems: Familiarity with distributed, scalable, and reliable systems.
  • DevOps Platforms: A user of modern DevOps platforms (Experience with GitLab is a plus).
  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, sufficient for success in a remote work environment.
