Backend Engineering Role

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance, scalable, and reliable API solutions.

  • This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining APIs that meet the needs of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional backend services and integrations.

As a senior member of the team, you will participate in architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure best practices are implemented across the backend infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop scalable, reliable, and high-performance APIs as part of the API team.
  • Contribute to system scoping, drafting technical specifications, and conducting code reviews.
  • Establish and maintain best practices for backend infrastructure with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design and implement robust test cases for new APIs and integration capabilities.
  • Deploy changes and execute migrations in an agile, iterative manner while ensuring backward compatibility.
  • Mentor junior engineers and foster knowledge sharing through code reviews and technical sessions.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across various services and infrastructure layers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope, design, and deliver key features on the product roadmap.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and tools related to CI/CD, observability, and the overall development workflow.
