Automation Specialist

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • A key member of a cross-functional team, collaborating with developers to design, develop, and test software applications.
  • Participating in requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and debugging of new and existing features.
  • Defining test plans and strategies, performing manual and automated tests, and analyzing results to identify gaps and improvements.
  • Crafting and developing test frameworks and automation tools to support continuous testing across the SDLC.
  • Integrating AI/ML-based tools to improve test coverage, predict defects, and generate intelligent test data.
  • Contributing to the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automation and ensuring test environment stability.
  • Analyzing test coverage and results, identifying gaps, and implementing improvements.
  • Participating in code reviews and promoting standard processes in testability and maintainability.
  • Staying updated on industry trends and continuously improving testing processes, tools, and frameworks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in end-to-end software application testing using lean Agile practices.
  • Experience in Agile testing, SAFe methodologies, and contributions to other SDLC activities.
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks, test planning, analysis, and design.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language applied in desktop, mobile, and/or web development projects.
