Job Opportunity

We are looking for a seasoned network engineer to fill this key role.


This position entails providing operational support for the global network environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in networking technologies, analytical skills, and strong communication abilities.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing proactive and reactive support for all network hardware, software, and communication links.
  • Working closely with project managers to integrate network setups and provide solutions to complex problems with well-planned documentation.
  • Completing preventative maintenance activities such as code updates and equipment upgrades.
  • Incident management, problem management, change management & capacity management.
  • Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives.
  • Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, site personnel and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Security & audit compliance.
  • Operational-related moves, adds, changes, and deletes (MACD).
  • Adherence to operational standards.
  • Compliance with engineering design standards and established operational processes.
  • Participation in the development & maintenance of operational documentation, including updates to engineering documentation changes, escalation procedures & vendor contracts.
  • Providing root cause analysis for network events.

Technical Skills Needed:

The following technical skills are required:

  • Networking technologies: DNS, DHCP, VPN, network security, IP routing protocols.
  • Cisco networking technologies: routing & switching, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
  • Cisco wireless.
  • Meraki wireless.
  • Palo alto firewalls.

Required Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting Cisco networking technologies.
  • Strong technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Practical technical knowledge of CISCO networking technologies.
  • ITIL v3.0 or v4.0 preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite, and friendly manner, both written and verbal, to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced working environment.
  • High-level technology problem-solving skills.

Education/Certifications:

You must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, engineering communications, or equivalent experience. CCNA/CCNP certifications are also required.

Work Location/Work Schedule/Travel:

Mostly work-from-home with occasional travel.
