Video Surveillance Specialist

The Security Monitor position plays a pivotal role in safeguarding assets and maintaining policy compliance across monitored properties. This key role oversees live surveillance feeds, ensuring the safety and security of individuals and property.
Responsibilities:- Oversee live camera feeds at multiple facilities to prevent fraud and maintain policy compliance.
- Document unauthorized staff departures and take disciplinary action as needed with supervisor approval.
- Monitor entrances/exits, provide door access for staff and approved visitors, and escalate incidents as necessary.
- Identify theft, physical altercations, medical emergencies, or behavioral incidents and notify supervisors immediately.
- Track scheduled shifts and initiate calls for replacement staff when on-duty personnel are absent or do not show up.
- Record all incidents, observations, and enforcement actions in a daily security log.
- Support maintenance of a safe work environment by participating in drills and safety trainings as requested.
- Remain informed and compliant with regulations, company policies, and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of records, especially those relating to client treatment or financial information.
- Participate in audits/surveys and contribute to quality assurance and performance improvement plans.
Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting and working on a computer. Frequent video/phone meetings; occasional site visits.
Working Conditions: Remote, fast-paced environment with collaborative teams.
Key Competencies: Strong attention to detail, excellent situational awareness, and professional communication skills.
Requirements: High school diploma or GED, prior experience in surveillance or security preferred. Must pass a background check and confidentiality agreement.
