Job Summary

The role of a Business Development Manager is to craft and execute strategic marketing plans, programs, and tactics that align with organizational objectives. This position will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, designing and implementing targeted marketing campaigns, managing communication initiatives, and ensuring the achievement of corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that meet business objectives;
  • Design and implement tailored marketing campaigns that target specific markets and customer segments;
  • Manage communication initiatives, including social media, advertising, and public relations;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to customer requirements;
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities;
  • Represent the organization in industry events and conferences;
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity;

General Management Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual business plans and action items to support organizational objectives;
  • Participate in strategic planning and budget development;
  • Recommend process improvements and optimize resource allocation;
  • Align team performance indicators with organizational goals;
  • Communicate corporate directions and plans to next-level management;
  • Secure commitment from direct reports and working teams;
  • Manage team performance through motivation, coaching, and mentoring;

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Electrical Engineering, or Business-related courses;
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in commercial operations of the power industry;
  • Experience in electric power generation is an advantage.
