Video Content Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Video Content Creator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a video content strategy that meets the needs of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in video production, editing, and research. They will need to be able to create engaging content at a high volume with minimal supervision. The primary goal will be to drive sales and conversions through video content.
This is a permanent, full-time position that can be worked remotely from the comfort of your own location. We offer a flexible work environment and opportunities for professional growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a video content calendar that meets the needs of our clients
- Produce and edit high-quality educational, general, and brand video content
- Work with customers to obtain video testimonials
- Create supporting images to illustrate videos, such as opening and closing slides
- Optional: Produce other types of video content, such as video tutorials and animated GIFs showcasing our plugins
- Optional: Conduct SEO keyword research and analytics to identify ideas for new videos
- Optional: Analyze the impact of existing videos and look for new opportunities
- Basic experience working with WordPress CMS, including creating sites, managing content, and installing plugins
- Proven experience producing and editing quality videos for online publication
- Experience creating screencasts
- Ability to create images to illustrate videos, including basic image editing
- Familiarity with YouTube trends and conventions, with the ability to utilize these techniques to increase subscribers, views, and engagement
- Advanced-level WordPress experience (coding experience not required)
- Proven experience in creating and implementing video strategy, with a strong instinct for what makes video content succeed online
- Proven experience creating videos about WordPress plugins and themes
- Experience using analytics and other tools to evaluate the impact of videos and identify new opportunities
- Ability to create more advanced graphics and animated GIFs
- Experience managing and evaluating YouTube ads
- Networking skills, with the ability to perform effective outreach and link building work, nurturing relationships with influential Vloggers
