Senior.NET Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Developer to join our team at Gratitude Philippines. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our e-commerce platform using.NET technologies.

• Participate in feature development and maintenance of our webstore platform, related.NET APIs, underlying SQL Server entities, and business logic.
• Keep the code base healthy by issuing GIT pull requests and participating in code review.
• Assist with the webstore team's level 3 software response with timely resolution of issues.
• Self-test code prior to releasing to production and lead production releases in partnership with the QA team.
• Apply stories in Jira in a timely manner.
• Look for opportunities for improving the system, its architecture, and underlying code base.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including estimation, standups, grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Apply updates to stories in Jira.
• Regularly update user stories and tasks to reflect the current status of the sprint.
• Work closely with business owners to provide best possible estimates and timelines.
• Self-test stories prior to engaging the QA team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified by the QA team and customers.
• Work closely with the product owner to understand requirements and scope work.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.

• 5 years of combined software development experience on any set of platforms or languages.
• 3 years of experience building applications that run on SQL Server.
• 3 years of.NET experience with C# as the primary language.
• 2 years of experience with JavaScript.
• 2 years of experience with.NET API development.
• 1 year of experience with GitHub including accepting and submitting pull requests.
• 1 year of experience with agile software development processes.
• Must have e-commerce experience.
• Familiarity with entity framework.
• Familiarity with.NET Core preferred.
• Solid foundational software knowledge (testing, version control, and concepts such as DRY and SOLID).
• Strong knowledge of web fundamentals (HTTP, response codes, REST).
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate and work closely with others.
• Ability to document and explain technical details clearly and concisely.
• Willingness to learn new patterns and technologies.
• Candidate must be amenable to reporting at least 3x a week on the client site in Alabang.
