Senior.NET Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior.NET Developer to join our team at Manpower Core Group Inc. as a key member of our web store platform development team.

• Participate in feature development and maintenance of our web store platform, related.NET APIs, and underlying SQL Server entities.
• Keep the code base healthy by issuing GIT pull requests and participating in code review.
• Assist with the web store team's level 3 software response with timely resolution of issues.
• Self-test code prior to releasing to production and lead production releases in partnership with the QA team.
• Apply stories in Jira in a timely manner.
• Look for opportunities to improve the system, its architecture, and underlying code base.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including estimation, standup, grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Apply updates to stories in Jira.
• Regularly update user stories and tasks to reflect the current status of the sprint.
• Work closely with business owners to provide best possible estimates and timelines.
• Self-test stories prior to engaging the QA team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified by the QA team and customers.
• Work closely with the product owner to understand requirements and scope work.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best of breed technology, patterns, and methodologies.
• Nurture a culture of team excellence with openness, transparency, and close collaboration.

• 5 years of combined software development experience on any set of platforms or languages.
• 3 years of experience building applications that run on SQL Server.
• Familiarity with.NET Core is preferred.
• Solid foundational software knowledge, including testing, version control, and concepts such as DRY and SOLID.
• Strong knowledge of web fundamentals, including HTTP, response codes, and REST.
