Job Title: Systems Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Systems Engineer. The successful candidate will design, maintain and optimize cloud and hybrid environments that support financial trading operations.

The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic high-stakes environments and has deep experience in Microsoft Azure and M365.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
    • Provide L1/L2 support for cloud and on-prem systems including Azure VMs storage and networking.
    • Maintain system health perform patching backups and configuration reviews.
    • Troubleshoot escalated issues across Microsoft 365 Azure AWS and GCP.
  • Network & Security Administration
    • Administer Azure and Microsoft 365 including compute IAM and monitoring.
    • Enforce cloud governance tagging and cost optimisation.
    • Support automation using Terraform Ansible and scripting PowerShell Python Bash.
  • Backup & Disaster Recovery
    • Execute DR testing and maintain business continuity documentation.
  • Security Operations
    • Monitor and respond to alerts from SIEM IDS/IPS and endpoint protection platforms.
    • Enforce access controls MFA DLP and compliance standards ISO 27001 GDPR NIST.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in financial services or trading environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Azure AWS GCP VMware and HCI.
  • Familiarity with Citrix Active Directory Windows Server and backup systems.
