About the Role

The Solutions Advisor position is a pre-sales role focusing on designing solutions for various infrastructure technologies and recurring IT services. This role requires an enthusiastic professional with a well-rounded technical skill set and strong business acumen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Articulate and discuss Dataprise Managed Services portfolio to prospects and customers.
  • Interface with prospects to determine technical requirements, feasibility, and expectations.
  • Strategize with prospects to architect a winning solution based on business objectives, functionality, scalability, future-proofing, and cost.
  • Create detailed Statements of Work (SOW) for implementing architected solutions.
  • Partner with internal sales and operations teams to provide support for pre/post sales activities.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into easily understood value discussions addressing business drivers and client benefits.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous work experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Several years of experience as a system administrator, network engineer, or similar position with expertise across the complete IT industry lifecycle.
  • Experience as a Solution Architect or Sales Engineer with a clear methodology for performing requirements gathering, analyzing business requirements, and tailoring custom products and solutions.
  • Broad expertise in all IT infrastructure related technologies with at least two focus areas: Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Security, Microsoft Suite, Cloud, and Carrier and Telephony Services.
Additional Requirements
  • Prior work responding to RFP's, RFI's, and RFQ's for commercial and government contracts.
  • Experience writing Statements of Work and determining pricing for hardware, software, services, and labor.
  • Accustomed to working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven position with strong organizational skills and a desire to provide exceptional customer service.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
