Senior Financial Analyst Job Description

This role is responsible for overseeing and managing the accuracy of bonus and commission programs, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver timely compensation. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the analyst partners with sales, sales finance, accounting, and other business teams to provide reporting, analysis, and strategic insights that drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation and maintenance of quarterly compensation workbooks independently, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee and manage company-wide compensation processes, driving continuous improvements and efficiencies.
  • Prepare and submit monthly incentives and bonus calculation files, reviewing and maintaining relevant data needed for accurate calculations.
  • Maintain sensitive and confidential information securely, in compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Address complex commission and bonus inquiries, adjustments, and corrections promptly, ensuring positive employee experience.
  • Maintain sales compensation documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeline adherence.
  • Collaborate with revenue operations teams on systems improvements for commissions.
  • Document and maintain processes for monthly, quarterly, and annual commission accounting tasks and audits.
  • Design and develop complex queries, reports, and analyses to support fact-based business decisions.
  • Provide ad-hoc and regular reporting, analysis, and key projects for stakeholders.
Qualifications:
  • Create complex spreadsheets, formulas, pivot tables, and data visualizations in Microsoft Excel with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Maintain exceptional attention to detail, staying organized while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Engage and communicate confidently with senior leaders and C-Suite executives.
  • Clear and coherent in both written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
