Job Title: Backend Innovation Driver

As a senior backend developer at a leading telco, media, and tech company, you will drive innovation in cybersecurity, software development, and big data technology.

This role offers the opportunity to play a critical part in a global agile team. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality ODM rules based on project requirements, conducting peer code reviews, and contributing to improving development standards.

  • Develop and maintain high-quality ODM rules based on project requirements
  • Conduct Peer Code Reviews and contribute to improving development standards
  • Take on user stories to develop rules that align with project specifications
  • Work with external teams to integrate solutions
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application issues ensuring optimal performance
  • Create and maintain documentation for all development activities
Key Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience in Information Systems Technology
  • At least 5 years of experience with Java Development and Spring
  • At least 5 years of experience with REST Services
  • At least 5 years of experience with IBM ODM Tools or Rule Engine system background such as Drools
  • Extensive experience using IBM Websphere Liberty
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills in a complex environment

  • Strong background in security best practices
  • Good knowledge of Kubernetes
  • The ability to facilitate, negotiate, and work within a multi-domain team environment
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-team collaborations
