Job Opportunity

Gartner is seeking an expert to provide business and technology insights to CFO clients. The successful candidate will have experience helping CFOs build and execute a finance strategy, accelerating ERP systems to the cloud.

Analysts create valuable insights through published research and lead client interactions, meeting with clients via video conference or events. They help clients overcome challenges leading to better performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in finance technology, advising CFO clients on topics like ERP transformation, AI in ERP, building a finance strategy, and executing a finance roadmap.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced analysts to build authoritative research addressing CFO priorities and challenges.
  • Deliver high-quality advice through face-to-face and video-based presentations with clients.
  • Stay ahead of the curve across cloud ERP business case development, vendor evaluation and selection, embedded AI vendor capabilities, program governance, implementation, go-live readiness, and post-go-live management.
Requirements
  • 12+ years of experience in finance roles or consulting roles supporting large-scale ERP projects designed to transform finance and accounting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of the latest trends, innovations, and vendor capabilities in finance technology and cloud ERP software markets, including AI capabilities of vendors.
  • Experience working closely with CFOs and senior finance leaders to build buy-in for finance projects, mapping finance needs to business outcomes, and delivering roadmaps on time and budget.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Master's degree preferred.
  • Ability to conduct occasional travel, regionally and globally.
