VirtueStaff is on the lookout for a talented software engineer who specializes in automations to join our innovative team.

Job Description

This role involves designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet client needs, as well as creating efficient automation processes. In this dual-role, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing software applications tailored to meet client requirements
  • Building and implementing automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes
  • Collaborating closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional software solutions
  • Troubleshooting, testing, and improving existing software and automation systems

In addition, you will document software and automation processes for future reference and training, stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the application of best practices in development and automation, and participate in code reviews, providing feedback and suggestions to team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience as a software developer with a focus on automations
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript
  • Experience with automation tools such as Zapier, N8N, or similar platforms
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset
  • Familiarity with APIs and integrating different software systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative team environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Experience in documenting processes and workflows
