Job Opportunity: Facade Designer and Estimator

We are seeking a meticulous Facade Designer and Estimator with hands-on experience in façade detailing and quantity takeoffs.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in preparing detailed shop drawings, reviewing architectural and structural plans, and utilizing specialized façade software to ensure precision and accuracy.

You will be expected to collaborate closely with engineers and project stakeholders to guarantee compliance with technical specifications and project requirements.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive shop drawings for windows, curtain walls, and panel systems
• Conduct thorough material and quantity takeoffs by reviewing plans and creating detailed summaries in Excel/PDF
• Work collaboratively with engineers to develop and revise designs and calculations
• Ensure drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specs
• Utilize Logikal, AutoCAD, and Excel to complete design and estimation tasks efficiently

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in façade design, including curtain walls, windows, and cladding systems
• Skilled in preparing precise shop drawings and detailed takeoff summaries
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Logikal Software, and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of construction documents and architectural drawings
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
