Healthcare Content Writer Job

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Content Writer to join our organization. As a Healthcare Content Writer, you will be responsible for analyzing and documenting clinical requirements using best practices.

This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and policies, as well as excellent writing and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare content creation, including developing clinical guidelines, patient education materials, and policy documents.

In addition to your writing skills, you should also possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Clinical Requirements Analysis: Analyze and document clinical requirements using best practices as defined by Clinical management.
  • Content Validation: Validate clinical requirements including content requirements, in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional team members to evaluate rule/policy behavior and confirm that solution requirements meet business expectations.
  • Documentation and Maintenance: Document content requirements to promote immediate post release content maintenance handoffs.

Bachelor's degree in health information management, nursing, or other healthcare-related degree required.

AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification or AHIMA CCS-P or CCS certification required.

5+ years of relevant healthcare experience, with at least 2 years as a payment/reimbursement or medical policy analyst, medical coder, medical claims processor, chart reviewer/auditor, or clinical editing analyst.

Effective communication skills: able to present complex material clearly via multiple mediums.
