About the Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

- A minimum of 2 years of mortgage industry experience

- At least 1 year of recent experience in Quality Control, loan review, or underwriting

- Ability to calculate assets, income, and liabilities submitted in a 1003

- Ability to update 1003, LT, and AUS (DU & LP) for material changes, including those affecting DTI

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)

  • Thorough knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA guidelines
  • Familiarity with GSE and HUD LRS platforms
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with Encompass CRM (preferred)

Key Performance Indicators

  • Maintain the daily count log for Processor Pipelines up to date
  • Complete all new files on the same day of receipt
  • Follow each step of the Loan Opener Checklist and reference it for every file
  • Utilize provided templates for all tasks
  • Consistently update file notes
  • Promptly resolve hold file issues and avoid relying solely on email
  • Document reasons for holds in file notes
  • Avoid holding files for more than 24 hours; escalate unresolved files and notify LO/PS with the reason
  • Handle only manual VOE requests
  • Check if the employer or payroll company is listed in the Argyle Database before requesting
  • Confirm use of The Work Number
  • Provide the processor with the contact name and information via email when contacting an employer
  • Confirm receipt of all verifications from third parties (title companies, employers, etc.)
  • Follow up on all pending orders and requests daily, or at least every 48 hours
  • Notify LO/LP when the file is fully opened and ready for processing, including SharePoint link and VOE notes
  • Monitor the DoralOpening inbox; confirm receipt of emails within one hour and address requests on the same day
  • Monitor the DoralVOEs inbox with the same response and turnaround time
  • Prioritize verbal VOE requests for immediate handling
  • Address rescore requests on the same day or within 24 hours
