Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Operations Specialist to join our team at NightOwl Consulting Philippines, Inc. As a key member of our loan processing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate completion of mortgage applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead Note Management: Track and manage Lead Notes received from Loan Officers to ensure all necessary information is captured and updated in Encompass.
  • Email Monitoring: Monitor incoming emails related to App Submissions and set up Encompass files accordingly.
  • File Setup Review: Conduct thorough reviews of file setup to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Pre-Approval Team Collaboration: Send files to the Pre-Approval team once sufficient documentation is available.
  • DU/LP and Appraisal Ordering: Run DU/LP and order appraisals as needed, unless prior investigations are waived or approved.
  • Client Needs Lists: Send client needs lists after initial file review and post Pre-Approval team review.
  • Document Acquisition: Obtain required documents such as EOI, VOE's, and HOA docs when requested by LOA/Processor.
  • Funding Readiness: Ensure that EOI and other documents are accurate at funding time to avoid delays.
  • File Tracking: Maintain a tracker of all files on your desk, including outstanding items, to prevent any files from slipping through the cracks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mortgage Industry Experience: Required
  • Encompass Experience: A plus
  • Order Outs and Third-Party Communication: Must have experience
  • Office Application Proficiency: Familiar with using office applications
  • Communication Skills: Proficient
  • Personality: Great personality
  • Finance and Accounting Background: A plus
