Detail-Oriented Electrical Engineer

Bureau Veritas is seeking an experienced and skilled Detail-Oriented Electrical Engineer to oversee the electrical systems of a water utility project in CALABARZON.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience working with electrical codes and standards.

Job Description

We are looking for an individual who can effectively monitor and inspect electrical installations, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems and instrumentation, and prepare QA/QC reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and inspect electrical installations including pumps, control panels, SCADA systems, and backup power systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems and instrumentation.
  • Review and verify electrical drawings, load calculations, and single-line diagrams.
  • Prepare QA/QC reports, track non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for material inspections and approvals.
  • Support audits and ensure documentation aligns with ISO 9001 and project requirements.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, be licensed as an Electrical Engineer, and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in utility or infrastructure projects.

  • Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in utility or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of SCADA, instrumentation, and power distribution systems.
  • Experience with QA/QC processes and ISO standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
