We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Credit Officer to join our team at MKIT (HONG KONG) HOLDINGS LIMITED. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and managing loan channeling partnership applications and other retail credit products.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions that balance customer needs with the bank's risk exposure.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

  1. Evaluating retail customer applications for loan channeling partnership and other consumer credit products using credit scoring models and financial documentation.
  2. Analyzing customer financial profiles to assess credit risk and making informed credit decisions.
  3. Ensuring all documentary requirements are submitted during application and ensuring all documentary requirements for yearly updating will be submitted and on-hand.
  4. Declining or recommending adjustments to retail credit applications based on credit policies and risk tolerance.
  5. Communicating with loan channeling partners to clarify credit application details, request additional information, and provide updates on their application status.
  6. Monitoring the performance of approved credit accounts and identifying early warning signs of potential defaults.
  7. Collaborating with Retail Lending Manager to update and refine credit policies based on market conditions, regulatory changes, and risk exposure.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in retail credit analysis, lending, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk, documentary requirements, consumer lending practices, and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in using credit risk assessment tools and financial modeling.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements affecting consumer lending.
