Job Summary

Motion Designers are responsible for producing high-quality videos and motion graphics. They work on the concept of the design and storyboard, as well as syncing music and voice-over.

The execution of projects is done under the supervision and guidance of the Art Director of Multimedia, who Motion Designers also report to.

  • Create animation and visual effects for video projects
  • Collaborate with your Art Director on developing storyboards
  • Produce high-quality assets within various art styles to be used in video production
  • Work closely with other Motion Designers in person and virtually
  • Update project management software accurately

Key Responsibilities:

This role requires a detail-oriented, collaborative, and facilitative individual who can effectively communicate at all levels, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to working independently or in teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, and adhering to tight deadlines.

Additionally, they must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Motion Designers should possess a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or equivalent related field, with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in motion design.

They should be proficient in Adobe After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and have a solid understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and hierarchy of information.

Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask will also be required.
