Job Title:

A senior accounting professional is sought to provide expert tax and financial services in an Australian setting.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare accurate financial statements, tax returns, and lodgments as per Australian regulatory requirements.
  • Client Support and Engagement: Offer assistance to Australian accountants and bookkeepers with daily client needs, ensuring timely lodgments and high-quality outcomes.
  • Administrative and Organizational Tasks: Perform duties such as daily timesheet entry, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail under tight deadlines.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within an Australian CPA/CA accounting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian tax compliance principles.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with Xero add-ons (Xero Practice Manager, Ignition, FYI).
  • Exposure to SMSF compliance.
Working Conditions and Benefits:

Work 38 hours per week between 9:00am–5:30pm AEST, Monday to Thursday, and 9:00am–3:00pm AEST Friday, with a 24-minute lunch break. Quarterly team bonding functions are also included.
