Senior Tax Accountant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Australian taxation law and a strong understanding of financial statements and annual tax returns. You will also have expertise in preparing compliance jobs for the trial balance stage, identifying franking account issues, and reviewing client-prepared BAS/IAS.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in a Chartered Accounting Firm.
  • Expertise in Australian accounting, taxation, and clients.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, annual tax returns, and compliance jobs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
