A growing start-up is seeking a sales tax accountant to join their team. This role involves ensuring clients' needs are met by submitting sales tax filings and resolving time-critical issues. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to analyze data, and possess excellent time management skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 2+ Years of Accounting or Audit Experience: Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, with the ability to apply this knowledge to resolve complex issues.
  • Multi-Client Master: Proven track record of managing multiple client priorities effectively, while maintaining organized records and adhering to deadlines.
  • Excel/Google Sheets Guru: Proficiency in using spreadsheet software to analyze data, create formulas, and develop reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Bonus Points for US Tax Knowledge and / or having your CPA: A strong understanding of US tax laws and regulations, with certifications like the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) being a significant advantage.
