Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Freelance Peer Reviewer to assess the novelty and originality of research manuscripts, evaluating whether they add new knowledge or insights to their field of study.

  • Evaluate study design and methodology to ensure it is comprehensive, clearly described, and reproducible in the future.
  • Conduct a thorough literature review to ensure manuscripts incorporate and cite relevant, up-to-date research in their field.
  • Analyze results and conclusions, ensuring they are presented clearly and supported by data and significant to the field.
  • Provide constructive feedback, suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.

Based on evaluations, recommend publication decisions to journal editors. This role requires strong analytical and critical thinking skills, excellent written communication, and ability to maintain confidentiality and objectivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Doctoral degree (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in clinical microbiology or related field.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in the relevant discipline.
  • Strong understanding of research methodologies and ethical principles.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
