US Bookkeeping Job Opportunity

This role is an excellent chance to work as a full-time independent contractor, focusing on bookkeeping for e-commerce businesses. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling bank statements, and performing monthly closing procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
  • Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures
  • Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems
  • Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a focus on e-commerce
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), G Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes
