Senior Security Analyst Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to join our team and take an active role in advancing our security offering and capabilities to better serve our clients.

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and managing client security systems, responding to security incidents, and working closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor and manage client security systems, including endpoint protection, email security, network security, identity threat protection, dark web protection, data loss prevention, vulnerability scanners, and log aggregation and SIEM solutions.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents, including incident investigations, malware detections, and detailed analysis of evolving security threats.
  • Client Support: Work closely with clients to understand their specific security needs and provide recommendations for improving security posture and adhering to compliance standards.
  • Solution Implementation: Assist clients with the implementation and maintenance of security solutions.
  • Security Assessments: Perform security maturity and posture assessments against client environments.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least five years of experience in security analysis and management in an MSP environment.
  • Skills: 5+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Security: Office365, Azure, AWS; Email Security Solutions; Network Security devices and platforms; Vulnerability Management; Compliance, Incident Management, and Reporting; enterprise cybersecurity policies and standards; vendor management and solution alignment.

  • Professional Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, or other related certifications.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to analyze security breaches and trace sources of attacks.
