Cloud Architectural Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. The Cloud DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support applications and services.

This involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AWS ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Design:
    • Develop and maintain efficient cloud architectures, particularly focusing on scalability and security.
  • Automation and Continuous Deployment (CD):
    • Implement automated pipelines using various tools for efficient software delivery.
  • Containerization and Orchestration:
    • Manage and support container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes for enhanced scalability and flexibility.
  • Monitoring and Observability:
    • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions such as New Relic.
    • Expertise in components like CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events, and Alarms, syslogs, and other cloud analytics tools.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Automate repetitive tasks using IaC principles with tools like Terraform, streamlining the deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Release Management and Security:
    • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, integrate test automation into CI/CD processes, and ensure seamless code releases while applying AWS security best practices.
  • IT Operations and Maintenance:
    • Strong troubleshooting skills, effective server resource management, and database management knowledge (SQL and NoSQL databases).
