Email Marketing Specialist Job Description
About the RoleAs an email marketing specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue and customer retention through strategic email and SMS campaigns. Your goal will be to build lifecycle campaigns that engage customers, optimize performance, and drive business growth across multiple brands.
- Develop and execute email and SMS marketing strategies to boost engagement, retention, and revenue.
- Create and manage segmentation, campaign builds, and automated flows throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Analyze post-send performance data to inform future campaign optimizations.
- Maintain and enhance campaign calendars to ensure timely and consistent communication.
- Personalize messaging using customer data and behavior to improve conversions and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align campaigns with overall business objectives.
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 1+ year of experience working with email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo & Postscript preferred).
- Proven ability to design and optimize lifecycle flows and campaigns that drive retention and revenue.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, A/B testing, and personalization strategies.
- Copywriting and visual direction skills for high-performing email/SMS creatives.
- Familiarity with popup and list-building tools (e.g., Justuno, OptiMonk, Privy).
- Analytical mindset with experience in campaign reporting and optimization.
- Able to manage multiple brands and campaigns simultaneously.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and clear communication skills.
- Dual-monitor setup required (at least 8GB of RAM) and fast internet speed (25 Mbps minimum).
