Packaging Sourcing Expert

As a procurement specialist, you will be responsible for leading sourcing efforts and managing supplier relationships. Key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating suppliers, managing RFQs and contract agreements, analyzing market trends and building strong relationships with key packaging suppliers.

• Lead sourcing efforts for primary and secondary packaging materials (e.g. bottles, jars, caps, tubes, labels, cartons).
• Identify, evaluate and qualify local and international packaging suppliers.
• Manage RFQs, negotiations and contract agreements to ensure cost competitiveness and supplier reliability.
• Analyze market trends, price fluctuations and supply risks; recommend sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key packaging suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs (quality, delivery, cost, responsiveness).
• Collaborate with suppliers on innovation and sustainability initiatives.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand packaging requirements.
• Support new product development by ensuring packaging availability and readiness.
• Ensure packaging materials comply with regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in sourcing or procurement, preferably in the FMCG industry.
• Deep knowledge of packaging materials and manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and contract management skills.
• Familiar with GMP and packaging related regulatory requirements.
• Familiar with FDA regulations and ASEAN cosmetic directive compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
