JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Packaging Specialist Lead to join our team in health and beauty manufacturing industry. You will be responsible for managing the packaging development process, leading a team of specialists and ensuring all packaging materials are safe, innovative, regulatory-compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with brand standards.

JOB HIGHLIGHTS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and manage the packaging team in developing primary, secondary and tertiary packaging.
Oversee packaging projects from concept to launch; ensuring timeliness and budgets are met.
Evaluate new packaging materials and technologies aligned with market trends and sustainability goals.
Coordinate with R&D, QA, Procurements, Production and Marketing teams for product packaging alignment.
Ensure that all packaging complies with Philippine FDA and ASEAN Cosmetic Directive standards.
Conduct packaging compatibility, stability and line efficiency tests.
Review technical drawings, specifications, and artworks for approval.
Source and liaise with local and international suppliers; participate in cost negotiations.
Resolve packaging-related production or quality issues and implement improvements.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience in packaging development within cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of packaging materials (plastic, glass, laminates etc.) and manufacturing processes.
Familiar with FDA regulations and ASEAN cosmetic directive (ACD) compliance.
Excellent leadership, communication and project management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From Php30,000.00 per month
