**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Assessment Specialist to join our team at Bank of Commerce (Philippines). In this role, you will be responsible for performing credit verification, validation, and review effectively and efficiently for Individuals and Corporate Accounts.

As a key member of our Credit Department, you will perform due diligence on applications or accounts for review, ensuring the processing of quality accounts in a timely manner while minimizing credit loss and mitigating fraud and credit risk.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Reviews all requests needing Credit Evaluation (New Application, Account Maintenance, Product/Program roll-out)
  • Performs all necessary Credit related functions from assessment, pre-evaluation, validation, final decision, and maintenance of all credit card applications and existing customer accounts
  • Conducts Employment Verification to confirm veracity of information provided
  • Conducts third party review via card check, Credit Bureau, DTI, SEC for further investigation and evaluation
  • Evaluates credit information and performs financial analysis, risk profiling, investigation, fraud detection, and other pertinent evaluation tools for the approval/rejection of an application or account maintenance request
  • Performs account onboarding in MVS to determine Credit Risk Profile Score
  • Performs CIF updating in ASCCEND for new to bank customers
  • Performs Enhanced Due Diligence functions as needed
  • Verifies that information in all Card Systems used are accurate and updated based on full analyses done
  • Coordinates with different departments on the amendments and corrections needed to update client's information
  • Ensures applications and requests of new applications and existing customers are processed in a timely manner with adherence to credit approval requirements therefore minimizing credit loss and mitigating fraud and credit risk
