Financial Operations Manager

Outstanding accountants are needed to drive the financial success of our business. We seek a seasoned Senior Accountant who can help us make strategic decisions and achieve our objectives.
As an Accountant Leader, you will be responsible for several key functions:
- Onboard new clients by utilizing templates and assign them to the right accountant.
- Ensure that all accountants deliver services on time and keep clients satisfied.
- Help onboard new team members and make them feel supported and ready.
- Review monthly financial reports for errors before sending them to clients.
- Monitor client channels to ensure clear communication.
- Check that accountants meet goals and help balance workloads.
- Work with other managers to resolve issues before escalating them to senior leaders.
- Give feedback to senior leaders on systems and suggest improvements.
- Look for ways to grow client revenue and share ideas with senior leadership.
- Do regular team evaluations, recommend promotions, and ensure clear, professional communication with clients.

Requirements:
- 3–7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Supervisory experience (e.g., leading a team, overseeing accounting operations).
- Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dear, XERO).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- CPA is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and integrations with accounting systems.
- Experience with inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and deferred revenue.
- Experience with SaaS-based and marketing businesses.
