Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Examiner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and validating loan and mortgage documents to ensure their validity, legality, and enforceability. You will also communicate examination findings accurately to stakeholders to ensure correct and complete compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Review and validate loan and mortgage documents under the Comprehensive Monitoring Program (CMP).
  • Prepare mortgage examination findings through thorough review of submitted documents.
  • Communicate examination findings accurately to stakeholders.
  • Prepare transmittal letters for the release of check payments to landowners.
  • Coordinate with SHFC linkages and partners to secure necessary documents.
  • Collate and review mortgage documents after issuance of letter of guaranty.
  • Consolidate required documents for transfer of title to Community Association's name.
  • Maintain proper safekeeping of mortgaged documents.
