About the Role

As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business growth through maximizing organic traffic, Google Maps visibility, and inbound leads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Optimize and manage multiple Google Business Profiles across all markets to ensure accurate and keyword-rich information.
  • Post regular updates/offers on GBP to drive engagement and encourage customer interaction.
  • Monitor GBP Insights to track visibility, calls, and directions, providing valuable insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Conduct thorough keyword research specific to each service and service area to inform content creation.
  • Create and optimize service pages and location pages to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
  • Apply best practices in on-page optimization, including title tags, headers, meta descriptions, alt text, and schema.
  • Ensure internal linking structure supports local SEO and crawlability, facilitating a seamless user experience.
  • Regularly update content to maintain and improve search engine rankings.
  • Develop a blog/content calendar with informative articles and seasonal content to attract and engage target audiences.
  • Write and publish customer-focused guides to capture organic traffic and educate homeowners about various services.
  • Repurpose content for use in social platforms and Google Posts to maximize reach and engagement.
  • Monitor and improve site speed, Core Web Vitals, and mobile responsiveness to provide a seamless user experience.
  • Ensure clean site structure, indexability, and fix crawl errors via Google Search Console to prevent penalties and maintain search engine rankings.
  • Manage sitemaps, robots.txt, redirects, and broken links to prevent technical issues and maintain website integrity.
  • Build and maintain consistent NAP citations across major directories to establish credibility and trust.
  • Acquire local backlinks through sponsorships, partnerships, press, and guest posts to increase authority and visibility.
  • Monitor online mentions and reputation management to address any negative sentiment or reviews.
  • Track traffic, keyword rankings, GBP performance, and conversions to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Report weekly and monthly performance to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for continuous growth and improvement.
