About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tax Preparation Specialist to perform tax preparation duties with accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Review: Screen and review client-provided tax documents for completeness and accuracy prior to preparation.
  • Tax Data Entry: Enter and review tax data into preparation software with precision and thoroughness.
  • Tax Return Preparation: Prepare and support the filing of federal and state tax returns, including Schedule C and Schedule E.
  • Documentation Management: Organize and verify supporting documentation for client returns.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive tax and financial information.
  • Time Management: Meet established deadlines and collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of returns.
  • Customer Support: Respond to client or internal inquiries regarding tax information as needed.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Uses Lacerte, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy in screening and data entry.
  • Professionalism: Maintains integrity and professionalism when handling sensitive financial data, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations and company policies.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and coherent both written and verbal communication skills in English.
