Senior Animal Production Specialist

The role of Breeder Farm Senior Supervisor involves overseeing the operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness of breeder and nursery farms. This position is responsible for assisting the Farm Manager in ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining a safe working environment.
Farm Operations
- Manage and oversee swine production processes to achieve targeted production performance.
- Recommend enhancements to existing processes and activities to improve efficiency.
- Ensure accurate inventory management systems are in place, and variances are within acceptable thresholds.
- Collaborate with other teams to maintain farm facilities and implement bio-security protocols.
Community Relations
- Respond to community concerns related to farm operations by recommending and executing appropriate actions.
People Development
- Supervise, monitor, and evaluate the performance of direct reports.
- Develop and provide intervention for the growth and development of direct reports.
Other Tasks
- Perform assigned tasks and manage expansion projects as necessary.
Food Safety
- Comply with quality, Halal, health, and food safety policies and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (licensed) or Agri-related courses.
- At least five years of supervisory experience in a 2000 sow-level swine farm.
