Accounting Professional

We are seeking an accounting professional to join our pioneering finance team in Manila. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled accountant to contribute to the establishment and growth of our organization.

About the Role

This role involves preparing and examining accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports. You will analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.

You will also develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems. Additionally, you will compute taxes owed and prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.

The successful candidate will advise management on financial decisions and strategic planning. You will conduct financial audits and provide recommendations for procedural improvements. Furthermore, you will review financial reports for ways to reduce costs and work closely with the accounting and finance team to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a CPA designation (mandatory). You should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong exposure in FMCG or commercial companies, handling high-volume transactions, is also required.

You should be proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks are also necessary.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is crucial. Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm is a plus.
