Job Overview

The Technical Specialist, Project Management role entails project management services for the delivery of routine to moderately complex infrastructure and environmental projects. The incumbent serves as a technical specialist for client partners and may conduct research and assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare documentation required for long-term projects (e.g., approvals, statements of work, project charters, budgets, policies and procedures)
  • Manage project lifecycles from initiation to closure for infrastructure and environmental projects, including new construction, recapitalization, and environmental assessment and remediation
  • Support client partner project approval processes by facilitating decision making through business case analysis, functional space programming, and other documentation
  • Coordinate stakeholder communications to ensure timely decision making
  • Participate in procurement planning and prepare tender documents
  • Coordinate consultant activities
  • Represent the project director or project manager within delegated authority
  • Maintain effective relationships within the organization, with industry, client partners, and stakeholders
  • Ensure quality standards are met, aligning with corporate and client partner expectations

  • Compile monthly reports (e.g., internal, client partner)
  • Support and/or lead business development initiatives
  • Manage risk
  • Perform other duties as assigned
