Accurate Financial Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Management Specialist to provide expert guidance on financial management. As a full-time independent contractor, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring timely billing and collection.
You will work closely with clients to understand their financial needs and provide expert advice on financial management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries
- Reconcile bank statements and perform monthly closing procedures
- Ensure accurate tracking of inventory, sales, returns, and refunds, integrating with relevant inventory management systems
- Handle invoicing and payments for service contracts, ensuring timely billing and collection
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 3 to 5 years of bookkeeping experience in a US accounting firm, with a focus on e-commerce
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), G Suite, and Microsoft Office
- Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment processes
