
HR Generalist

Our organization is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team.
The successful candidate will support the HR functions for various teams, including recruitment, employee onboarding and offboarding, employee policies and procedures, establishing company culture, ensuring employee satisfaction, training and development, performance management, benefits administration, and legal compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent
- Evaluating competitive compensation benchmarking
- Coordinating and managing the entire recruitment process from job posting to onboarding
- Conducting interviews and collaborating with department managers to make hiring decisions
Key Responsibilities include:
- Employee Onboarding & Offboarding:
- Supporting the onboarding and offboarding processes employees
- Coordinating with various departments to ensure all necessary equipment and access are taken care of during onboarding and offboarding
- Ensuring compliance with company onboarding and offboarding policies
- Employee Policies and Procedures:
- Drafting, reviewing, and updating employee policies and procedures to align with legal requirements and company values
- Ensuring that HR policies are effectively communicated and understood by all employees
- Handling employee relations and addressing concerns in accordance with company policies
- Establishing Company Culture:
- Upholding and promoting the company's core values, mission, and culture
- Implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction
- Fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment
- Ensuring Employee Satisfaction:
- Collecting feedback from employees regularly and strategizing actionable items
- Coordinating team building activities and effective communication channels
- Acting as a point of contact for employee concerns and providing guidance on conflict resolution
- Assisting in developing and implementing employee engagement strategies
- Ensuring defined employee NPS score is met
- Training and Development:
- Identifying training needs and coordinating professional development programs internally and externally
- Facilitating training sessions on HR-related topics and compliance matters
- Supporting employees in their career growth and skill enhancement
- Performance Management:
- Overseeing the performance management process, including regular performance evaluations
- Providing guidance to managers on performance-related issues and improvement plans
- Benefits Administration:
- Administering employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations related to employee benefits
- Legal & Compliance:
- Staying abreast of changes in employment laws and regulations
- Assisting in ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations in various jurisdictions
- Helping maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations
- Assisting in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures
Administrative Support:
- Handling administrative tasks related to HR functions, such as maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and managing benefits
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation and reporting
- Assisting with budget planning and management for HR-related expenses
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in HR, with a significant focus on technical recruitment or experience in the tech industry
- Basic knowledge of local labor laws and regulations in India, and ability to learn quickly for other jurisdictions
- Experience in managing HR functions such as compliance, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, and administration
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take initiative and ownership of projects, well as work effectively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in HR software and tools
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
