Enhanced Due Diligence Investigator

Our organization seeks an experienced Enhanced Due Diligence Investigator to join its Integrated Compliance Services team. As a key member, you will conduct comprehensive due diligence investigations aligned with our AML policy and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough background investigations as required and collaborate with Regional Compliance or local compliance regarding red flags found on High Net-worth individuals, Keyman insurance, and PICs.
  • Communicate case status effectively with the Business Unit and Regional Compliance, highlighting any potential AML/ATF red flags.
  • Share knowledge with the enhanced due diligence team and Global Investigative Forensic Services for unique findings encountered during research.
  • Ensure accurate tracking tools are updated with the necessary information to track monthly EDD data.
  • Participate proactively in other segments by completing ad-hoc requests or additional EDD tasks.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least one year of experience in enhanced due diligence or AML/ATF work focusing on investigation is essential.
  • Knowledge of life insurance and investment products, along with an understanding of OECD FATCA, CRS, and other AML regulatory frameworks, is advantageous.
  • A bachelor's degree in Economics, Banking, Legal, or Business is required.
  • Familiarity with various fund and corporate structures, such as Ultimate Beneficial Ownership (UBO), is crucial.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • The role demands technical skills like foreign language proficiency, Boolean methodology, and data analysis, along with soft skills like critical thinking, problem-solving, information analysis, and decision-making.
  • Strong research and writing skills are necessary, along with effective communication of case status and potential AML/ATF red flags to Business Units and Regional Compliance.
