Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Research real estate databases for comparable data and analyze the findings.
  • Investment Analysis: Analyze real estate investments, including acquisitions and developments.
  • Financial Modeling: Create financial models to assess property performance and returns.
  • Market Research: Research market trends, property data, and comparable sales/rentals.
  • Report Preparation: Prepare reports and presentations for leadership and clients.
  • Due Diligence: Assist with due diligence, including reviewing leases and financial documents.
Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous work experience as a Real Estate Analyst or similar roles.
  • Educational Background: Degree in Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Math, Economics, or Real estate.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Word; financial modeling experience preferred.
  • Analytical Thinking: Analytical experience with independent thinking.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with Filemaker Pro and internet searching skills.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of real estate terms and metrics (e.g., cap rates, NOI, IRR).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.

This position requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will have a passion for data analysis and financial modeling, and be able to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
