Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Leader to oversee our kitchen operations in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • To ensure the entire kitchen team is aware of their responsibilities in respect of health and safety protocols in the workplace and have the minimum qualifications and training to work in a kitchen environment.
  • To develop and implement effective kitchen strategies, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality dishes while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • To train and supervise kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive team culture that encourages collaboration and innovation.
  • To maintain accurate inventory records, manage stock levels, and control food costs to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • To work closely with the management team to plan menus, develop recipes, and source quality ingredients to meet the needs of our guests.
  • To ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health standards, and company policies, conducting regular audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • To foster strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of essential goods.
  • To manage kitchen equipment, maintaining them in good working condition, and reporting any issues to the management team.
  • To provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to guest feedback and concerns, and ensuring all interactions are professional and courteous.
  • To promote a positive image of the company, adhering to our brand standards and values at all times.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Senior Kitchen Leader in a similar establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, including menu planning, recipe development, and inventory management.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, and guests.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and health standards, with the ability to conduct regular audits and implement improvements.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
