Job Title

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Accountant to join our team.

About the Role

This is a remote position that requires 4 days of work per week with 1 hour unpaid break time. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Statement Analysis: Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Database Management: Develop, implement, and maintain financial databases, software systems, and manual filing systems.
  • Budgeting: Prepare and analyze budgets, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs.
  • Business Operations Analysis: Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future revenues and expenses.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Provide strategic financial recommendations based on financial analysis.
  • Compliance: Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies to ensure documentation compliance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with management to provide insights for financial decision-making.
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay updated with financial and tax regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
  • Strong ethics and integrity.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
