Our Controllership team requires a skilled Senior Accountant with an active CPA license to manage the timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, contribute to accurate financial reporting, and foster positive vendor relations through effective communication and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Review and verify vendor invoices against contracts and receipts to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Handle complex invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues by collaborating with vendors and internal departments to resolve them promptly.
  • Assist in preparing payment runs, ensuring all payments are processed on time and align with vendor agreements.
  • Maintain and update vendor information, ensuring the accuracy of records in the accounts payable system.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations for accounts payable.
  • Ensure VAT, WHT, and income tax compliance in line with local regulations.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of AP policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the department.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior accounts payable staff, ensuring they understand and adhere to AP processes and best practices.
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements, following up on outstanding issues to guarantee timely resolution.
  • Generate and analyze AP reports to monitor aging and cash flow, assisting with audits and providing necessary documentation and evidence for AP-related inquiries.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the AP function and contribute to initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency and reducing errors.
