Job Opportunity:

Our organization seeks a diligent and meticulous Coordinator to facilitate the process of interconnecting solar energy systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting permit applications, ensuring compliance with jurisdictional requirements.

This role involves close collaboration with internal teams to guarantee timely and accurate submissions. You will also need to maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar industry standards and local regulations to support operational excellence and high approval rates.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building strong relationships with customers, co-workers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit permit applications for interconnection and rebate programs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Maintain current knowledge of solar industry standards and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with customers, co-workers, and stakeholders to supply necessary updates and reporting.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a college-level education is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Solar Project Coordinator for a U.S.-based company or in a similar role.
  • At least 1 year of experience handling solar interconnection applications with California utilities (e.g., PGE, SCE, SDG&E, LADWP); experience in Texas and Florida is a plus.
  • Skilled in creating and interpreting flowcharts, schedules, and action plans.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of risk management and quality assurance practices.
  • Practical experience with project management tools (e.g., CRMs).
