As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable microservices using cloud architecture and frameworks such as AWS. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to estimate effort during sprint planning and evaluate open-source options of similar technologies and offer suggestions.

About The Role:

  • Design products following coding standards and Agile development methodology, tools, and release processes.
  • Develop microservices following specifications.
  • Estimate level of effort during sprint planning, evaluate open-source options of similar technologies and offer suggestions.
  • Design and develop specifications and solutions with attention to system integration and data management.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of professional experience with Python.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience with Web API architectures, REST (highly preferred), SOAP, or GraphQL.
  • At least 2 years of programming experience working with Cloud Architecture and Platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Has experience working in a serverless project.
  • Has experience with development working with databases.
  • At least 6 months of Serverless framework background.
  • Knowledgeable in Clean Architecture and OOAD (Understands the concepts behind).
  • Experience in database design and architecture for SQL and NoSQL databases must be able to consider different access methods and design patterns.
