Job Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business intelligence solutions using Power BI. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of data modeling, DAX, and M programming languages, as well as experience with tabular models and report design.

About the Role:

  • BAU Platform Support

    - troubleshoot and resolve complex data model issues, including those related to business logic implemented in Power Query (M) and calculations in DAX.

  • Reporting Platform Development

    - create and enhance Power BI dashboards and several tabular models as part of planned platform development projects and activities.

  • Transition Management

    - support technology components of new client onboarding, including building and testing objects and measures in dashboards and tabular models.

  • Client Project Services

    - perform technology project-related activities, including requirements capture, business rule specification, dashboard and tabular model design, and change management routines in Azure Analysis Services and Power BI.

  • Collateral Development

    - document new implementations and changes in dashboards to meet IT and business standards.

About You:

  • 5+ years of solid Power BI development experience, with recent work in this field.
  • Excellent knowledge of DAX and M programming languages, data model development, and report design.
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing tabular models (Power BI or Azure Analysis Services).
  • Ability to write T-SQL code to query databases.
  • Experience with precise requirements gathering and documentation, including creating high-level and low-level design documents for developers.
  • Routine use of source control (e.g., Git), as part of regular BI development activities, including branching strategy and CI/CD principles.
